Once again it’s spring – the season of renewal with showers and flowers and all that happens when the earth (in the northern hemisphere) comes out of hibernation and rejoices in the sunshine and warmth that follows the end of winter. It’s been a while since I last posted my thoughts here – and this time has flown by almost imperceptibly except for the change of seasons.
There is so much happening – so many distractions – so much anger, fear, hurt, anguish, pain – but there is also so much good in the world. Take a moment to notice the good. As the saying goes, ‘stop and smell the roses’ and enjoy the little things in life that can bring peace and inner happiness. Above all…be kind and be grateful. Be the change that you would like to see in others. Hold open that door, lift someone up who may be down on their luck, pay it forward even if nobody has ever done that for you. Kindness can start out as a raindrop and turn into a trickle, ending up as a sea of kindness that brings peace and gratitude to all…just imagine…

Just Imagine
Imagine a world where all are kind
However, this happens – no one left behind
The kindness spreads out from one to another
Filling the voids to remove the clutter
Of daily worries and daily strife
From each single person’s daily life
Imagine a world filled with gratitude and love
What an amazing gift sent from up above
The gentleness and peace we would all feel
Allowing each living soul to properly heal
From inner panic and wild concerns
The fire within would melt not burn
The worries away for everyone here
Imagine a world filled with peace – free from fear!
